Awesome Composite Posters!
Well this is a little bit different. At SexSlurp we have, quite frankly, an insane amount of porn. So much that we have enough to do some truely stupid things with it (such as our porn by colour search).
We think We've topped it with this; we've built renderer that generates vast posters out of composite images, basically making any source image into a poster-sized image made up of, well, porn.
The source images are first chopped up into little chunks, these chunks are then compared against the current back-end database of about 8-10 (ish) million porn images. The closest 1000-2000 matches by colour are pulled out and stored. Next we use an edge detection algorithm to find the best suitable top 3 matches. A random one is chosen from the top 3 best matches and when all the chunks have been scanned they're stitched together into a pretty accurate poster!
Each poster takes around 30 hours to render (as you can imagine, even with caching comparing say, 26000 chunks each with 10 million images then edge-matching the top 2000 per chunk is a damn slow job!) so we've only finished a couple so far.
